Welcome to Gotham Radio Theatre!
Blithe Spirit was a great success! We played to a sold out crowd and the reviews were great! Read our review by Used York City, HERE. The crowd enjoyed our 1940's stage and screen stars. Our show more closely resembles the Lux Radio Theatre of the past and we hope you'll join us for our next show - Around the World in 80 Days. We invite you to read about 40's actors on our show pages.
Gotham Radio Theatre performs at the Arclight Theater, 152 West 71st Street New York, NY. (South side of West 71st Street, between Broadway & Columbus Avenues.)

Gotham Radio Theatre Brings Back a Unique Theatre Experience
Inspired by the Lux Radio Theatre of the 1930’s and 40’s, Gotham Radio Theatre brings you the experience of actors performing in vintage radio style! Masterpiece plays and screenplays are performed live, by an ensemble of actors and sound performers as if you were in a radio sound stage. You can experience these classic shows in a new format, where you ‘hear’ the shows as never before. Much like the radio hour serials of a bygone era, these classic theatre comedies, dramas and screenplays are performed in little more than 60 minutes, with live sound, music and actors playing multiple roles.
We invite you to read 'Don't Turn That Dial' in the West Side Spirit. It's a great article about Gotham Radio Theatre that will tell you a little more about us! http://westsidespirit.com/2011/10/26/don’t-turn-that-dial/#more-12956 Above photo from 'The Awful Truth' by Arthur Richman in September 2011.
