This is Martin’s second outing with Gotham Radio Theatre, playing Inspector Queen in last year’s The Adventures of Ellery Queen. By night (and the occasional matinee), Martin is an actor and playwright with credits from New York City to Stamps, Arkansas. Favorites include Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, “Daphne” in Some Like it Hot, and leading roles in Charley’s Aunt, The Foreigner, and My Fair Lady. His favorite leading lady is Gotham’s Laura Leopard, his acting pal from their college days in Tennessee. He’s grateful that in Auntie Mame he gets the opportunity to stop pretending for a few moments that he doesn’t have a Southern accent!
